Taza Mix Greenhills Review

Shabu-shabu is one of my favorite Japanese dishes coz it's fun to prepare and you can mix your own dipping sauces; it's healthy too because most of the ingredients are organic. (Except for the seafood balls) It's usually serve with thinly sliced beef, tofu and vegetables. Nori, Chinese cabbage and shiitake mushrooms are my favorite. At Taza Mix they also serve grilled meat and seafood, perfect for the hot soup. Nom nom nom! :D

grilled chicken and tuna. I like the barbecue sauce they used, not too sweet and not too spicy, just right. :D

I forgot to take a photo of the crab balls and the other balls before we put it in the hot pot, but it looks exactly the same so nothing special. =p I like the big white square balls because it's filled with cheese. When you bite it, the cheese will drip. It's so good... Real comfort food. :D

Shabu-shabu won't taste real good without this special dipping sauce, which contains red chili, peanut sauce, satay sauce, chopped garlic, spring onions and hebi. Mix it all together and add soy sauce. We asked the waiter to mix it for us coz we were clueless. You can always play with other ingredients depends on your preference. ;-)

Gulaman
Milk tea. It has long cute spoon and big straw, I don't know why but it taste really good.

Meryl, Sheila and I were fully satisfied with the Shabu-shabu at Taza Mix. We were super bloated, no more room for dessert! Hotpot is perfect for rainy weather, it's conveniently located and near my office (Ortigas Center).

Tip: Ask for the set menu rather than ala carte. You can save more money that way. If you want to avail the 10% discount, go on a weekday.

Food: each table is equipped with its own hot pot of boiling water where you cook the raw kobi beef, veggies, and noodles.

Service: Fast service, there isn't a long wait or maybe coz there were less than 15 guests that time. :D

This is not a fancy place but it is a good place to bring your family and friends.
